Privacy Policy

Couple Games (couplegamesonline.com) is free to use and does not require an account. We built this site to be as lightweight on data as possible: we do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

This policy explains what little information is processed when you use the site, why it is processed, and the choices you have.

Information you provide. We do not ask for your name, email address, or payment details. There is no sign-up form on this site.

Local storage. Your game progress, answer history, and theme (light/dark) preference are stored in your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to us.

Multiplayer sessions. When you play a real-time multiplayer game, the answers and moves you and your partner send are relayed through a third-party realtime service (Supabase Realtime) so both players can see them. These messages exist only for the duration of the session, are not linked to your identity, and are not used to build a profile about you.

Server logs. Like most websites, our host may automatically record standard technical details such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and request time for security and debugging purposes.

We do not use advertising cookies, analytics pixels, or fingerprinting scripts. The only browser storage we use is local storage for your preferences and progress, which you can clear at any time through your browser settings.

• To detect, prevent, and respond to abuse or security issues
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not use your information to send marketing messages, and we do not make decisions about you based on automated profiling.

We rely on a small number of providers to run the site:

• Hosting/CDN – serves the site and processes standard request logs
• Supabase Realtime – relays realtime multiplayer game events
• Google Fonts – delivers the Inter typeface

These providers process data under their own privacy policies. We intentionally avoid embedding social media widgets, ad networks, or third-party analytics.

Local storage remains on your device until you clear it. Multiplayer relay messages are transient and are not retained by us. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operational purposes, then deleted or anonymized.

Couple Games is intended for adults in relationships. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the site. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under this age. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Because we hold almost no personal data, most requests can be answered immediately — but you are welcome to write to us and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
